Volleyball Game Preview: St. Mark's Spartans vs. Appoquinimink Jaguars

The St. Mark's Spartans are taking a road trip to take on the Appoquinimink Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Mark's has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Appoquinimink will come in with 12 straight wins.

St. Mark's came up short against Conrad Science on Friday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Appoquinimink got the win against Cape Henlopen on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Appoquinimink's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for St. Mark's, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

St. Mark's might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Appoquinimink in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
