After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Mecklenburg, West Charlotte was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Chambers Cougars by a score of 64-53. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

West Charlotte's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bri'Asia Rowe led the charge by putting up 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jonnae Bennett, who posted 16 points.

West Charlotte's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Chambers, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.
