While Moline's win against Alleman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Maroons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Pioneers 5-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Moline moved to 17-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Alleman, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-12 record.

Looking ahead, Alleman will head out to challenge Riverdale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Moline will be paying especially close attention to the Pioneers' matchup: after the Pioneers face off against the Rams, they'll take on Moline again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
