Basketball Game Preview: Humble Wildcats vs. North Shore Mustangs

Humble is 1-8 against North Shore since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Humble Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the North Shore Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Humble is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Kingwood.

Meanwhile, North Shore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 68-60 to Summer Creek. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 65th).

North Shore's loss dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Humble, they now have a losing record at 15-16.

Humble strolled past North Shore in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 72-56. Will Humble repeat their success, or does North Shore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
