Volleyball Recap: Ritenour Comes Up Short

The Ritenour Huskies lost 3-0 to the Westminster Christian Wildcats on Thursday.

Westminster Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Arana, who had six aces and three digs. That's the most aces Arana has posted since back in September. Rachel Buchanan was another key player, getting 14 digs and four assists.

Ritenour's defeat dropped their record down to 9-22-3. As for Westminster Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7-1 record this season.

Ritenour does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westminster Christian, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Ladue Horton Watkins on the 25th.
