             Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Nebraska City). They put the hurt on the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays with a sharp  19-9 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won 16 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Nebraska City got a  massive  performance out of  Halle Nickels, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Hanna Marth was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Nebraska City  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Nebraska City has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record  this season. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record  this season.
 Nebraska City will take on Auburn on Thursday. Nebraska City will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak  alive. Ashland-Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
