Volleyball Recap: Cox Mill Wins Going Away Against Hopewell

Cox Mill won the last time they faced Hopewell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chargers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-10, 25-20.

Avayah Mckinnon paced Cox Mill's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mckinnon got some help from Alaina Walker and her 16 assists. Mckinnon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Cox Mill has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Hopewell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Cox Mill and Hopewell will both be playing Cuthbertson the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Chargers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
