Trent Douglass leads Westside Christian Academy to victory over Lake Ridge Academy

The Westside Christian Academy Eagles can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-48 win over Lake Ridge Academy.
Trent Douglass continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Taylor, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Westside Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Lake Ridge Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside Christian Academy will challenge Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Westside Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. As for Lake Ridge Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Andrews Osborne Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Ridge Academy is facing Andrews Osborne Academy at the right time seeing as Andrews Osborne Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
