Soccer Recap: Halifax Takes a Loss

After flying high against Williams Valley last Thursday, Halifax came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Millersburg Indians on Tuesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Halifax couldn't quite close it out.

Halifax's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-3-1. As for Millersburg, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Halifax will take on rival Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Millersburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Greenwood at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
