Ashland gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 6-3 margin over the Southern Aroostook Warriors. The matchup was close at halftime, but Ashland turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

They hit Southern Aroostook with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gavin Blair (2), Zane Zarate (2), Kaleb Dotson, and Jerry Paul III.

Southern Aroostook's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
