Baseball Recap: William Campbell Takes a Loss

William Campbell lost against Nelson County back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Generals took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Governors. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

William Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Nelson County, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coming up, William Campbell will host Chatham at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Generals are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Nelson County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Appomattox County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Governors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
