Volleyball Recap: Hayden Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Hayden couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Arab Knights on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wildcats haven't been shut out since back in September.

Among those leading the charge was Kayden Gronczniak, who had 11 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

The defeat snapped Hayden's winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 27-12 record. As for Arab, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 31-25 record this season.

Hayden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arab, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Boaz on the 23rd.
