Football Recap: Cody-Kilgore Takes a Loss

Cody-Kilgore played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 52-15 loss at the hands of the Garden County Eagles. The Cowboys/Cowgirls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-0.

Although Cody-Kilgore took the loss, they still got scores from Wesley Willert and Knox Wobig.

Cody-Kilgore's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Garden County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Cody-Kilgore will be playing at home against Santee at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Garden County, they will head out to take on Medicine Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
