Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-9 to the Juanita Ravens. Even though they lost, the Bearcats' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.8 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Scarlett Nagy was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Hadley Oylear was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Even though they lost, Monroe lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Juanita, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
