Baseball Recap: Woodbridge Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Woodbridge and Charles J. Colgan had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Woodbridge took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Charles J. Colgan on Tuesday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sharks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Aiden Simoneau was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Woodbridge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Charles J. Colgan, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodbridge will square off against Colonial Forge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Charles J. Colgan, they will face off against Forest Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
