Basketball Recap: Battle Lake Sets Scoring Season-High Against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Battle Lake). Everything went their way against the Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans on Friday as the Battle Lake Battlers made off with a 69-46 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Battlers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Battle Lake's win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Battle Lake and Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Battle Lake (ranked 302nd) will meet Underwood (ranked 75th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal will face off against Lake Park-Audubon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 253 places (356 vs. 103).
