Basketball Game Preview: Incarnate Word Academy Angels vs. Geneva Eagles

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Geneva, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat John Paul II 73-9. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Geneva's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Incarnate Word Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Incarnate Word Academy strolled past Geneva when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 67-49. Will Incarnate Word Academy repeat their success, or does Geneva have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
