Basketball Recap: Puyallup Vikings vs. South Kitsap Wolves
The Puyallup Vikings can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They put the hurt on South Kitsap with a sharp 48-26 victory. The victory was just what Puyallup needed coming off of a 64-23 loss in their prior match.
Despite the loss, South Kitsap had strong showings from Kyla Hoisington, who scored 11 points, and Kamdyn Hagerty, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Puyallup's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for South Kitsap, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
Puyallup does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Kitsap will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancers on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Washington (Kennedy Catholic is ranked 173rd, while the Wolves are ranked 190th).
