Baseball Recap: Lompoc Comes Up Short

Lompoc lost against Mission College Prep back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Braves took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sebastian Bravo was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Aidan Vallarta was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Lompoc's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Mission College Prep, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-6.

While Lompoc had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
