Wilcox came tearing into Wednesday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Los Altos Eagles 13-3. The Chargers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 14-1).

Wilcox's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Los Altos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-6.

Wilcox will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
