Esko had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-6 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Aitkin Gobblers as they made off with a 7-1 win. That's more bragging rights for the Eskomos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Aitkin, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

For Aitkin's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Edwards, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple was Edwards' first of the season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Esko will take on Rush City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aitkin, they will face off against Mora at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
