Groton won the last time they met up with Mobridge-Pollock, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. On Friday, Groton narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Mobridge-Pollock 28-26. The success made it back-to-back wins for Groton.

The win bumped Groton's record up to 5-2. The defeat dropped Mobridge-Pollock's record to 2-3.

Next week Groton take on Milbank at 7:00 PM. Groton will be strutting in after a win while Milbank will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they will face off against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
