Soccer Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss

Brunswick lost against South Effingham last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates lost 5-2 to the Mustangs.

Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for South Effingham, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Brunswick will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Valdosta at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for South Effingham, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Long County on the 2nd.
