Gardiner entered their tilt with Lake Region on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Lakers 3-0. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lakers, too.

Gardiner's got stronger as the match went on, holding Lake Region to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-8.

Lila Anderson paced Gardiner's offense, picking up nine kills. Anderson got some help from Kathleen Moore and her 13 assists. Alexia Ouellette controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Gardiner's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lake Region, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
