Football Game Preview: Oberlin Tigers vs. Elton Indians + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Oberlin will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to take on the Elton Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oberlin has given up an average of 33 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Oberlin and East Beauregard, and East Beauregard kept the tradition alive. The Tigers took a 36-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans last Friday.

Meanwhile, Elton came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tigers, posting a 41-14 victory. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 23 points or more this season.

Elton's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Oberlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Oberlin ended up a good deal behind Elton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, losing 34-18. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
