It was a proper cat-fight when Geneva faced off against Straughn on Thursday. The Panthers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Geneva might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Straughn scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-18, 22-25, 25-23.

Geneva's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Straughn, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Straughn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Slocomb on the 30th. Hopefully Geneva paid attention to the Tigers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
