Pittsfield gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down the Taconic Thunder 24-6. The victory continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now won five in a row.

Taconic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittsfield will host Hoosac Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
