Bob Jones is a perfect 10-0 against Austin since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Black Bears at 5:30 p.m. Austin took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bob Jones, who comes in off a win.

While Bob Jones' victory against Buckhorn wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots skirted past the Bucks 6-5.

Meanwhile, Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 13-0 to Sparkman.

Austin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Harville, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Bob Jones has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Austin, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-18.

Bob Jones took their victory against Austin in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Black Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
