Softball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Forest Hills on Thursday, Valley came back down to earth. The Cavaliers came up short against the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers on Monday, falling 10-1. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for North Yarmouth Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Valley will face off against Vinalhaven at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Yarmouth Academy, they will welcome Old Orchard Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
