Recap: Horse Creek Academy Stallions vs. New Hope Leadership Academy Gladiators
On Saturday, Horse Creek Academy beat New Hope Leadership Academy 59-50.
Horse Creek Academy can attribute much of their success to Wesley Green, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Green has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kingston Hightower, who scored 13 points.
Despite the loss, New Hope Leadership Academy still got an impressive performance from Sugar Eaton, who scored 28 points.
Horse Creek Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for New Hope Leadership Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horse Creek Academy will square off against Fox Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Hope Leadership Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th. Varsity Opponent has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 12.
