Basketball Recap: Linn County Comes Up Short

Linn County lost against Green City back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Linn County Mustangs were outmatched by the Green City Gophers and fell 111-53. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Gophers are ranked 90th).

Linn County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Green City, the win keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.

Coincidentally, Linn County and Green City will both be playing La Plata the next time they take the court. Linn County will host La Plata at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Green City will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
