Softball Recap: Pacheco Comes Up Short

Pacheco managed to slip by Livingston the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Wolves on Wednesday, falling 18-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Pacheco's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Livingston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Pacheco will square off against Lathrop at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Livingston, they and Ceres will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
