Softball Recap: Leeds Comes Up Short

If Leeds was riding high fresh off their 15-3 takedown of Ramsay last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greenwave came up short against the Moody Blue Devils on Tuesday, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Leeds saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chesney Robison, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Robison's first of the season.

Leeds now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Moody, they pushed their record up to 21-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Leeds will challenge Ashville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Moody, they will square off against Carver Birmingham at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
