Basketball Recap: Fulton Comes Up Short

Fulton lost against Northview Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fulton Falcons had to suffer through a 64-25 loss at the hands of the Northview Academy Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while the Cougars are ranked tenth).

Fulton has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Northview Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 25-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fulton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Farragut at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northview Academy, they will face off against Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 214 points over their last three games.
