Soccer Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Comes Up Short

The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors fell just short of the Benjamin Russell Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Lee-Scott Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Benjamin Russell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee-Scott Academy will challenge Autauga Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Benjamin Russell, they will welcome Calera at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
