Basketball Recap: Lotus School For Excellence Comes Up Short

Lotus School For Excellence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dolores Huerta Prep Scorpions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scorpions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-15 back in December of 2024.

Lotus School For Excellence's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Dolores Huerta Prep, they moved to 3-13 with that victory, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Lotus School For Excellence has already played their next matchup, a 28-20 loss against Vail Christian on the 28th. Dolores Huerta Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
