Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodford County). Everything went their way against the Spencer County Bears on Tuesday as they made off with a 25-6 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Yellowjackets considering their two-run performance the game before.

Woodford County's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Asher, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

The win made it two in a row for Woodford County and bumps their season record up to 19-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Spencer County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Woodford County beat the Bears by a score of 6-3 on Wednesday.
