Basketball Recap: Lake Quinault Comes Up Short

Lake Quinault was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Willapa Valley Vikings. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Elks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-18 back in January.

Lake Quinault's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Willapa Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Quinault will welcome Wishkah Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Willapa Valley, they will host Ocosta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
