Soccer Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton and Scott pushed the score to 6-2 the last time they played Scott, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Dragons fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 1-0. Clinton's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Scott, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will take on Gibbs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scott, they will challenge Concord Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
