Softball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-4 to the Centennial Titans. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 15-11.

Memorial has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Centennial, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Memorial will take on rival Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Centennial is set to challenge their familiar foe Liberty at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
