Football Recap: Westerly Piles Up the Points Against RHAM + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Westerly, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the RHAM Raptors, posting a 61-12 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 54-0.

A big part of Westerly's victory came down to the chemistry between Landon Husereau and his top target Daniel Cummings. Husereau threw for 136 yards and four TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes while Cummings gained 106 total yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Husereau a new career-high in passer rating (163.2).

Although RHAM took the loss, they still got scores from Daren Gagnon and Trey Richardson.

The win got Westerly back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westerly will head out to challenge East Providence at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for RHAM, they will take on Lewis Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
