Basketball Recap: Hennessey Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Hennessey Eagles were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-46 to the Ripley Warriors. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hennessey's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Ripley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Hennessey and Ripley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Hennessey will face off against Perry at 8:00 p.m. on Friday up 220 places (180 vs. 400). Meanwhile, Ripley (ranked 121st) will meet Coyle (ranked 415th) at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
