The Delphi Community Oracles will face off against the Frontier Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Delphi Community is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Clinton Central hit Delphi Community with a five-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Oracles fell 8-4 to the Bulldogs. The Oracles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Xaine Tessier made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Meanwhile, Frontier entered their tilt with West Lafayette on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Red Devils get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Delphi Community's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Frontier, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Everything went Delphi Community's way against Frontier in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, as Delphi Community made off with a 23-5 win. Do the Oracles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
