Basketball Recap: Radford Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Radford can now relate to. They fell 51-40 to the Gretna Hawks on Tuesday. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Radford's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Gretna, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5.

Radford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gretna, they will square off against Nelson County on Thursday. Nelson County will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Gretna surely won't give up without a fight.
