After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Corry, Clarion Area was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Union Knights/Damsels with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Knights/Damsels: they've now won nine in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Union still got an impressive performance from Lillian Hayden, who had 19 digs and one assist. Hayden is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory got Clarion Area back to even at 1-1. As for Union, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Clarion Area will venture away from home to challenge Allegheny-Clarion Valley at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Union, they will take on Tidioute Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
