Soccer Game Preview: St. Dominic vs. Chaminade

The St. Dominic Crusaders will square off against the Chaminade Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as St. Dominic comes in on three and Chaminade on five.

St. Dominic's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Fort Zumwalt South with a sharp 3-0 win. Given St. Dominic's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Fort Zumwalt South are ranked 62nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Chaminade won against Lindbergh on Friday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Thursday. The Red Devils came out on top against Priory by a score of 2-0. Chaminade's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

St. Dominic's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Chaminade, their win bumped their record up to 16-4-2.
