Langston Hughes never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Newnan Cougars 33-0. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Qwantavius Wiggins had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 230 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Carsyn Baker also helped out as he racked up 102 rushing yards.

The win keeps Langston Hughes at an undefeated 6-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average this season. As for Newnan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Langston Hughes will take on rival McIntosh at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
