St. Lawrence Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers 82-34 on Tuesday. The Larries have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 27 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ayden Beach, who went 16-for-23 on his way to 38 points in addition to eight steals and six assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of St. Lawrence Central's points. Jacob Evans was another key player, going 5-for-8 en route to 10 points and eight rebounds.

St. Lawrence Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive matchups.

St. Lawrence Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. Norwood-Norfolk is on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
