Football Recap: Pershing Takes a Loss

Pershing fell victim to Southeastern and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Jungaleers, falling 22-0. The Doughboys haven't had much luck with the Jungaleers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Pershing's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southeastern, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Pershing and Southeastern will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Doughboys are set to challenge their familiar foe Denby at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southeastern will face off against rival King at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
