Vandegrift is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Strake Jesuit get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Two seems to be a good number for Vandegrift as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Mesquite faced Dallas Jesuit in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Skeeters who were credited with the win. Mesquite got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Dallas Jesuit's one.

Vandegrift's victory bumped their record up to 20-3-3. As for Mesquite, their win bumped their record up to 19-3-4.
